Inventory tracker
1I finally made up my mind and ordered new wine fridges to replace my broken one.
I think it’s finally time for me to actually catalog my inventory.
What app or site do you think is best/easiest to use?
I would like, if possible, to say what shelf the wine is located.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks everyone!
I ended up ordering the vinotemp ones from costco. They had a good sale. I never really counted my bottles before, figured if they fit in what I had I was good reality hit when looking at getting replacement for what I had. I got some of the smaller ones, This way I can have dedicated fridges for specific varieties. And with the sale it was cheaper than getting another giant one. I definitely have a wine buying problem, good thing I’m among friends with the same issue that understand and support me
Definitely cellar tracker. The location and bin fields are free text so you can name things whatever you want. Then you can sort and filter by that information.
For pull out shelves I just use “shelf x” as the bin inside whichever fridge things are in for the location. For smaller slots I use an x-y coordinate system.
To get yourself started you can download a template to send them that will let you do everything in bulk rather than entering each wine individually.
I’m pretty sure Cellar Tracker is the most widely used solution.

And it supports bar coding for control as well.
@kawichris650 @rjquillin And yes, you can record a specific shelf within each storage unit. (Fridge A, Shelf 1, etc.)
@mommadeb What kind of unit(s) did you purchase?
