5Hey there party people!
The good folks at WCC have shipped all of those fantastic Remote Launch Party Packs so you can join in on the debauchery fun this Saturday.
Please, get those shipments inside and opened up - you’ll be oh-so-sad if you let them sit out in heat/cold for too long.

There are far too many of you for me to have time to send tracking emails before most shipments arrive. (Some are already delivered, the remainder will arrive tomorrow.)
If you absolutely have to have a tracking number for this - email support and I’ll get you your number.

I was wondering what was coming my way from Wine Country Connect… but I’m out of town on vacation. Hopefully my neighbor will snag it since it requires a signature. My son will then pick it up from them. Darn!!

@JOATMON I got mostly Zin’s for my wine and a Chardonny which was great as Zin’s are my favorite style of wine and the most purchased by me on Wine Woot over the years.

Yes, yes indeed, I need that tracking number, because I may or may not be around tomorrow, and I for sure need to be able to track anything headed my way, or even intercept it and have it delivered on Saturday, or held at Kinko’s.
Out of curiosity, would support@casemates.com have worked? Sorry if I seem ill informed, but I suppose it’s a positive note that I don’t have this answer to hand.

As posted in the other similar thread, mine arrived this morning, just about 22 minutes ago. Yay! Note that the cool-pack’s ice block thingy was not still frozen or particularly cold, so the admonition to get the stuff inside is wise. At least here in Maine it’s cool out today.
(but the FedEx guy needed a sig, so there’s that…)

@JOATMON The box has a 2017 Sofia Rose, a 2012 Wellington Syrah, a 2012 Pedronchelli Merlot, and the 2014 Meh zinfandel blend. My marshmallows are mint chocolate chip.

And shared the Rose and the taco peanuts with friends tonight; both were well received!
Looking at the lists/pics and getting very excited. It is my birthday this weekend and these goodies are going to be part of the celebration. Fingers crossed for what looks like a rose in my box!

My bag of peanuts had busted open inside of the shipping box and rained taco scented peanuts upon everything else, but aside from that everything else looks nice!
The wines I received were: 2012 Two Horns red blend, 2004 Wellington Zinfandel Estate Vineyard (ct said to drink by 2016), Meh Zin, and 2014 Vindie Chardonnay.
@andrd I noticed we all get different mallows too. I received mint chocolate chip. Our local coop carried them before and the root beer float marshmallows are so good,so if anyone receives them you’re lucky.
Yay- the “eagle has landed” in Illinois! Just picked up the box from my friendly Fed Ex hold office.
Can’t wait for the Octopi shirts to show up via USPS!

Wow. Just… wow. You guys have outdone yourselves! Got my box today and so far it’s the only thing that has made me glad to be sick and stuck at home so I could actually be around to receive the box!
ETA: In addition to one bottle of Irk’s Meh Zinfandel Mix, I got a 2007 WineSmith RRV Pinot Noir, 2013 Wellington Syrah (Estate), and 2014 Bernardus Chardonnay (Rosella’s). Smash Mallow = mocha chip

Box arrived here in warm sunny Florida and so glad my son was home to receive it and open it up. The meats were no longer cold but he got the perishables into the fridge for me. My shirts arrived too! For my wines I got the meh 2014 zin blend, PWR 2013 Syrah, Wellington 2012 Merlot, and a Sophora sparkling Rose! Bubbles…I got some bubbles! We jumped the gun a bit and tried the marshmallows, the toffee, and the salmon…all excellent!
Mine came today. 2014 Meh Zin, 2015 NxNW Rose, 2012 Wellington Syrah, 2013 Scott Harvey Zin.

I was pleasantly surprised at the great spread of goodies and the bottles of wine!!
The box arrived just as I got home from work and everything survived the trip. Popped the cheese and meats into the fridge and the wife has already tried the marshmallows

Boy I really wish you had seen fit to reach out and tell people that these were coming and required a signature. Fingers are crossed, but I’m going to imagine almost all of it will need to be tossed in the garbage when I get it tomorrow…
What were y’all thinking sending wine and perishables in the same package to Southern Florida?! Can the perishables be replaced?
@mother They have been talking about it on the boards sense mid February. Discussions include, but not limited to perishable foods and a need to change addresses. Also that they were shipping Tuesday for Thursday delivery. Some people were able to stall shipping or receive it a day earlier…
@jml326 Thats nice, maybe some millennial somewhere cares, but certainly not me. All it would have taken to prevent this was an email telling us what they were doing. I had NO IDEA that there were perishables or alcohol in the shipment, nonetheless both.
There is NO EXCUSE for not having reached out to notify us of what was coming.
@mother You did purchase a package that said includes appetizers and beverages. So you had SOME IDEA. And way to attack millennials for no real good reason. They also pinned to the top of the boards they were coming and if you need the tracking number to contact them. Maybe you could update your settings to receive more information from them.

Casemates.com Remote Party Packs are coming your way soon!
Your Remote Party Pack will be delivered before our March 3rd Casemates Launch Party taking place in Sonoma. It will be shipped to the address you provided in your Kickstarter survey.
If you will be out of town, we can ship your box to arrive the following week. You will need to let us know this BEFORE February 22nd. Unfortunately, we cannot ship boxes any later so if this date doesn’t work either, we suggest asking a friend to help you out.
We hope to have a live feed streaming from the actual event on March 3rd; we look forward to celebrating with everyone in-person and remotely. (Live feed streaming details to be provided on the casemates.com forum prior to the event.)

@jml326 A) Sorry, youre the one who suggested that posting crap in a message board was an acceptable method for communicating logistical information with customers, not me.
b) Where did it say perishable foods? Where did it say alcohol? Where did it say in the same box? My shirts came separately, did yours come wrapped around your wine and cheese?
@mother it’s a wine site… you paid for a party pack… there was an email and it stated to contact them for shipping details and struggles. Did you receive that email?
@mother as for message board postings yes. It worked for me and many others. Casemates was billed as a community. A place to meet people, talk and share. So yes I make it my point to check the boards. The party park was pinned at the top for all to see. Further more I know from WW and purchases from Casemates they ship FedEx. I have notifications set up so I know when and where my items are in relation to my shipping address. If you choose to ignore the emails, if you need help with email, if you don’t understand the format used here by all mean reach out. Or don’t I follow what’s going on here, I knew my party pack was coming, I waited on baited breath for my FedEx man to poke fun at me for yet another 25lbs box of “adult signature required.” Email support I’m sure they will take care of you. They are amazing people who want to help and want you to enjoy your experience here.

@jml326 No, I only got the email Karen posted. Didn’t even get the one to go select shirt sizes, like a bunch of other people didn’t.
I have FedEx notifications set up. I found out this package was being sent to arrive yesterday on Tuesday. It still didn’t tell me there were perishable items in it nor that it required adult signature.
You can keep making up lame ass excuses for a business totally dropping the ball, but they still totally dropped the ball. Casemates has been pretty universally HORRIBLE at communication so far.
The cheese and meats are garbage, the Brandini is not bites, and out of the 3 bottles of zinfandel they sent me (meh indeed!) only the actual Meh one probably got cooked (cork bulging the foil).
Winedavid, snapster and crew you must have had fun shopping for our launch party packs! What a feast; thank you. Folks, Look under the wine inserts for your stickers, they are somewhere in the box. …and I’m tempted to say neener neener to those who said, “Why should I shell out $ for a launch?!”

This is much better than I was expecting!!! Great spread of apps, and I got 2011 Wellington cab sauv, 2015 McEvoy ranch rose, meh zin, and 2013 chehalem pinot noir. Cab and pinot noir are my two favorite varietals and a rose and zin for the wife means I’m no longer in trouble for contributing to the kickstarter

So is there a way to live stream portions of the remote parties?
I used to get calls from FedEx based upon my phone number in my WW account, but no longer do with casemates. I don’t see a way to associate a phone number in my Casemates/mediocre profile. I have not setup an account with FedEx but it sounds like maybe that is the way to go?
@normanl0 I have wine shipped to my job. FedEx will not give notice of in coming shipments to a business address only residential. So I’m stuck there. Thankfully CM does post tracking numbers with orders.
@normanl0 My FedEx account notified me of the pending shipment. For me, I don’t think I got it due to a phone number. Pretty sure it’s because of my registered address via my FedEx account…Make sure to set one up if you haven’t or check to see if there’s something amiss with your account??? It works well for me regardless of whose shipping. I get the same for UPS…
I get both email and voice notifications for all woot/casemate shipment to my chosen FedEx office location.
Seeing these lists, I’m super jealous and wish I’d sprung for one!

. Awesome mix of wines and snacks. The Meh Zin, Winesmith 2010 Cabernet Franc, Wellington 2012 Syrah (I don’t have this one!!), and North by Northwest 2015 Rose.
I got the meh zin, Rockus Bachus, 13 Wellington CAB and a Sonoma chard. I have to say, I know most of the Casemates audience drinks reds, but I was hoping for more whites/roses. The only one I’ll like is the chard.
I could use some instructions. Not sure what much of this stuff is but I’m sure it will be delicious if I can get some help on what to do with it. I would hate to embarrass myself before the professionals on my first casemates party.
I had to have my package delivered to a FedEx facility because I ended up needing to be at work. I was planning to pick it up this morning (torrential Nor’easter yesterday), only to discover when checking FedEx’s website that it was only available there for 5 hours, then picked back up and has been on a truck ever since. I have no idea where it’s going, and when I called FedEx this morning they claimed their own site was wrong and it’s available for pickup. I’m not sure how it gets scanned in a completely different location if it’s there. Today might be a fun adventure.

Love this package, got mine Friday (which was perfect timing as I put in my 2 weeks notice at my dayjob to hang my freelance editing shingle full time). The peanuts don’t really go with the rest, flavor wise, and I wasn’t a fan of the salmon (but didn’t have the stuff to make the dip out of it in the house and wasn’t willing to go back out in that weather. Maybe another time), but aside from that, yummy choices. Got mint chocolate chip smashmallows (Their Churro flavor is the BEST EVER).

2011 Wellington cabernet sauvignon, which is so being saved for my last day at the dayjob.
I guess I never posted my party case contents. It was delivered Thursday, but I couldn’t get to it until Friday evening. Same basics as others. My marshmallows are mint chocolate chip. Wines are Meh Zinfandel, 2013 Clayhouse Adobe White, 2013 Besitos California Blend, 2013 Wellington Cabernet. Well worth the investment in Casemates’ future.
